The Hellacopters
The Hellacopters are a Swedish rock band formed in 1994 by Nicke Andersson (formerly of Entombed), Dregen (of Backyard Babies), Kenny Håkansson, and Robert Eriksson. Originally a side project, they became pioneers of the Scandinavian garage rock revival, blending high-energy rock ‘n’ roll with punk and classic hard rock influences. Their 1996 debut album, Supershitty to the Max!, won a Swedish Grammy, setting the stage for a celebrated career. After disbanding in 2008, they reunited in 2016 and released Eyes of Oblivion in 2022. The Hellacopters remain one of Sweden’s most influential rock bands.
