Distance, fading daylight, and the feeling of leaving routine behind.
A series moving through quiet roads, open landscape, and the atmosphere surrounding life on the road.
Some roads seem less about arriving somewhere and more about creating distance from everything left behind.
This series follows the quieter side of motorcycle culture. Long stretches of empty road, fading evening light, roadside pauses, worn materials, and the feeling of movement without urgency or fixed direction.
Rather than focusing on speed or performance, the series stays close to the atmosphere surrounding the ride itself: the silence between locations, changing weather, and the slower rhythm that appears once routine begins to disappear in the rear-view mirror.
Moving between landscape, documentary portraiture, and motorcycle culture, the series was photographed across quiet roads in Frasselt, Germany as daylight slowly disappeared into dusk.

Whisky is more than just a drink—it’s an experience. It carries the weight of history, the precision of craftsmanship, and the passion of those who create it.
Like the rugged landscapes where the finest whiskies are born, whisky has a raw, untamed beauty that speaks to those who appreciate authenticity. Hogshead reflects that very spirit — I had the honer to shoot een lookbook for their brand. Standing in nature, surrounded by golden fields and an open sky, much like whisky itself: pure, bold, and full of character.
At the heart of their work is storytelling. They believe in sharing the unique journey of their brands with whisky enthusiasts across the world, not just through words but through personal connections and real experiences. Whisky is not something you simply drink—it’s something you feel, something you live. It’s the warmth of a rich, peaty dram on a cold evening, the smooth complexity of a well-aged single malt, and the camaraderie shared over a glass with friends.
By engaging directly with whisky lovers, they create more than just consumers—they create fans. Through tastings, events, and immersive brand experiences, they bring whisky to life, helping people understand not just the flavors but the stories behind every bottle. From the careful selection of grains to the patience of aging in oak casks, each element plays a role in crafting something exceptional. And that story deserves to be told in a way that resonates.
Because whisky isn’t just a product—it’s a tradition, a journey, and a moment to be savored. Together, they don’t just sell whisky. They bring it alive.
